With over a decade of financial planning experience, Ryan’s primary role with KPW is to guide clients through the life planning process.  He is a Registered Financial Advisor and Licensed Insurance Agent who currently holds the designations of Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU), and Certified Health Insurance Specialist (CHS).

Ryan is an advocate for lifestyle-based financial planning. He belongs to a global group of lifestyle financial planners and has written articles and conducted presentations showing people the power of proper financial planning.  He believes that every client deserves proper financial planning that is honest, unbiased, and robust. As lead of the KPW LIFE PLAN Team, Ryan follows a strict lifestyle focused and client-centered process that puts his clients’ needs and wants before anything else.   

In his off-time, Ryan is also a competitive dragon boater who races with the Hana Nui Red boat crew out of Pickering, Ontario.

Sergio Simone started his career in the financial services industry in 1979 mainly in the distribution of investment products. In 2000 Sergio formed RJS Private Wealth Management, a firm specializing in the distribution of hedge funds to retail and institutional investors. Over a period of 2 years the firm was managing in excess of $150 million of hedge fund assets, both individually and institutionally.

Many people considered Sergio a figurehead for the Canadian Hedge Fund industry and one of Canada’s leading authorities on alternative investment strategies. In 2002 he entered into a joint venture with Jovian Capital Corporation to launch the Pescara Fund of Funds, a Multi-manager, Multi-strategy fund of funds specializing in Canadian underlying managers. Sergio became the Chief Alternative Asset Strategist for Felcom Management Corporation, the Portfolio Manager for the Pescara Fund of Funds, where he chaired a six member investment committee to manage the hedge fund. In its inaugural year The Pescara Fund of Funds led all other Canadian Multi-Manager, Multi-Strategy funds with a 12.52% return.

During his tenure with Jovian Capital, Sergio, a director of the International Hedge Fund Association, was elected as the founding president of the Canadian Chapter of the Hedge Fund Association. Providing Alternative Investment education to advisors and investors became one of his main ambitions and goals. To that end he was responsible for creating and chairing a committee of Canada’s premier hedge fund personalities who, along with Strategy Institute created the Certified Hedge Fund Specialist Course.

As a by-product of his position in the Canadian Hedge Fund industry, Sergio was inundated to make public speaking appearances, write articles, consult with Mutual Fund companies on hedge fund development and join a variety of Hedge Fund related boards.

In 2006 Sergio established a private practice in the hamlet of Kleinburg, Ontario to provide hands-on financial advice to a few select high net-worth clients.

Kristina is a Certified Financial Planner® and a Chartered Financial Divorce Specialist™ with over 15 years of experience in the financial services industry.   

As a Lifestyle Financial Planner, Kristina helps clients navigate through various life stages, clarifying their financial needs, interests, and concerns to establish and achieve the lifestyle they envision. With extensive industry knowledge and an emphasis on sound financial planning, she has built a reputation as a trusted resource for her clients and peers.  

In her role as a Financial Divorce Strategist, acting as a financial neutral, Kristina uses her professional insight to help individuals navigate the financial complexities involved with separation and divorce.  Her priority is to ensure financial interests, tax adjustments, pension legislation, and future financial outcomes are considered while providing comprehensive evaluations. She uses her expertise and guidance to ensure clients are educated on the options so they can feel confident in making informed financial decisions.

Kristina’s strength is helping people financially plan for and manage life’s transitions, no matter the magnitude. Her educational foundation, ranging from a Bachelor of Arts Honours degree in Psychology to over a dozen industry accolades, truly highlights her passion for bridging the gap between wellness and wealth. She works closely with her clients to help them approach their finances from a position of greater knowledge, strength, and confidence.  

Kristina’s greatest achievement to date is raising her three young daughters to be strong, independent, and kind. She enjoys spending time with loved ones and being active, whether it's a simple nature hike or an intense cycling class! 

Rosy’s diversified and dynamic job skills have filled a gap at KPW. Prior to joining Kleinburg Private Wealth, Rosy’s responsibilities included office management, client proposals, customer service and condo management.

While performing these duties Rosy still found time to teach Full Body Conditioning Classes for children. As a martial arts specialist, Rosy has also taught children the discipline of Mixed Martial Arts.

At KPW, Rosy’s responsibilities include: customer service, managing filing systems; developing and implementing new administrative systems, such as record management; recording and managing the office budget.

Katrina joined Kleinburg Private Wealth in the summer of 2020 with a long history of working with people. Having graduated in 2004 with a Bachelor of Applied Science with Honors in Gerontology from the University of Guelph, Katrina spent almost two decades working with vulnerable and aging individuals in the Durham Region community. She also holds a Certificate in Volunteer Management from Sir Sanford Fleming College.

Katrina’s responsibilities at Kleinburg Private Wealth include advisor support and management of the day-to-day operations of the KPW Pickering office.
